PT Amman Mineral Industri’s (AMIN) copper smelter project continues to show significant progress. After entering the commissioning stage, this national strategic project is getting closer to the commercial production stage.
As a form of support for the success of this project, PT Nusa Bahari Perkasa has sent its first fleet to transport Silica Flux commodities. This important raw material will be used in the smelter commissioning process and will later become one of the main components in the copper smelting process.
This strategic partnership between Amman Mineral and Nusa Bahari Perkasa not only strengthens the domestic supply chain, but also contributes to economic growth in the West Sumbawa region. With the operation of the Amman copper smelter, it is expected to make a significant contribution to regional economic growth. In addition to creating direct jobs, the project will also encourage the development of other supporting industries around the smelter area. This is in line with the government’s efforts to increase added value from natural resources and reduce dependence on raw material exports.
